Job Summary
Prepare and manage tender documents, oversee contract administration, and handle financial aspects of construction projects to ensure accurate cost control and timely project completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and manage tender documents including BOQ, tender clarifications, and unit prices to support accurate project bidding
- Prepare tender submissions, quotations, progress claims, payments, variation orders, and finalize project accounts to ensure financial accuracy
- Liaise and build effective relationships with consultants and contractors to certify claims for payment and resolve contract issues
- Measure quantities from drawings and evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries to support procurement decisions
- Administer project documentation including interim evaluations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, claim submissions, and final accounts to maintain project records
- Manage all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance and budget control
- Work independently and collaboratively within teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Adapt to fast-paced environments and manage workload under pressure, including availability to work weekends when required
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying, Civil & Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in procurement, budgeting, estimation, contract administration, measurement of quantities, and variation orders
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in the Interior Design industry
- Experience with landed property projects
