QUANTITY SURVEYOR / SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description & Requirements

• Prepare and submit progress claims for main contracts and subcontract works.
• Support project team on contract administration, variation orders and extension of time (EOT submissions)
• Carry out quantity taking off for structural, architectural and External works and prepared detailed cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications and requirements
• To assist in procurement. Source quotation and prepare comparison evaluation
• Liaise with consultants and seek clarifications on contract scope and variation works
• Prepare Project Budget for close monitoring with accounts and project team
• Track material quantity against project budget cost
• Verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers
• Settlement of final account with client, subcontractors and vendors
• Handle basic cost related administrative tasks and provide supporting documents
• Attend Project Site meetings

Requirements

• At least Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveyor/ Building/ Civil Engineering & Construction Management Works
• Basic understanding of construction costing. Contracts and procurement processes
• Familiar with QS tools/software and Microsoft office applications
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
