Job Summary
Lead quantity surveying activities for aluminium and glassprojects, collaborating with contractors and architects to resolve site issuesand drive project cost management.
Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration with Main Contractors and Architects to identify and resolve site issues, ensuring uninterrupted project execution
- Prepare comprehensive tender submissions aligned with project requirements and client expectations to secure project contracts
- Manage progress claims, payments, variation orders (VO), and final account finalization to maintain accurate financial control throughout projects
- Attend site meetings to provide expert quantity surveying insights and support project progress and decision-making
- Coordinate and execute timely materials ordering for project sites to meet scheduling demands and uphold quality standards
- Estimate overall project costs accurately to support budgeting and financial planning for aluminium and glass projects
- Perform assigned ad-hoc duties to support project delivery and company objectives effectively
- Utilize AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) proficiently to produce detailed quantity surveying documentation and reports
- Apply specialized knowledge of aluminium profiles to ensure precise quantity surveying aligned with project specifications
- Maintain composure and deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- At least 5 years of quantity surveying experience in aluminium windows and doors projects
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with project stakeholders and facilitate collaboration
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimation and documentation
