Roles & Responsibilities
Cost & Contract Management
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost plans.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Evaluate and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare and process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
- Assess and process variations, VO claims, and extension of time (EOT) requests.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with client reps
- Provide cost advice and financial reporting to ensure project profitability and cost compliance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure proper documentation of project costs, claims, and variations.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, site instructions, and daily work progress.
- Prepare procurement schedules, materials take-off, and budget forecasts.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
- Identify potential risks and provide solutions for cost control and efficiency.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in cost estimation, tender preparation, and BQ measurement.
- Familiar with Singapore construction codes, regulations,
- Competent in using QS-related software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel, AutoCAD).
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
