Quantity Surveyor (Part Time)

About Us:

We are a growing Singapore-based construction firm. We need a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support our tendering and post-tender processes on a part-time basis.

Role Overview:

You will handle quantity take-offs, prepare quotations, and manage tender documents both before and after tender submission.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-tender:

• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications

• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and material schedules

• Source and compile subcontractor / supplier quotations

• Assist in preparing tender submission documents

Post-tender:

• Evaluate tender returns and prepare tender comparison reports

• Support contract award documentation

• Assist with variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field

• Minimum 2-3 years of local Singapore construction QS experience

• Familiar with standard forms of contract (PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS)

• Proficient in MS Excel and at least one QS software (e.g., Cubit, Planswift, or Bluebeam)

• Strong understanding of local construction practices and market rates

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
