The Opportunity

Join engineering firm where you will manage the full commercial lifecycle of diverse M&E projects-from initial tender to final account. This role offers the chance to build deep technical expertise in both large-scale infrastructure and industrial service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Tendering & Pre-Contract: Lead quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), and build detailed cost estimates for M&E works.

• Procurement: Source and negotiate with subcontractors perform bid comparisons to ensure best value.

• Post-Contract Management: Administer subcontracts, track variations (VO), and manage monthly progress claims/valuations.

• Final Accounts: Negotiate and close out final accounts with clients and subcontractors with high accuracy.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure cost control and scope alignment .

What We Are Looking For

Must have: Prior experience from specialist piping or electrical firm .

Education: Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).

Technical Skills: 2-3 years of QS experience (M&E exposure is a significant advantage).

• Familiarity with M&E measurements (e.g cabling, ducting, piping, etc.).

• Proficiency in MS Excel experience with software e.g. Autodesk Takeoff, Bluebeam , CostX is a plus.

Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to own the commercial process from start to finish.
