Job Description
Due to major company growth and project awarded, Mutiara (FE) Pte Ltd has an immediate opening for Quantity Surveyor. We are seeking well qualified , enthusiastic people to join us for continued growth of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Tender Submission and tender analysis
- Responsible for measurement of quantities and cost estimation
- Time preparation of Bill of Quantities
- Evaluates tender briefing and site show-round when required
- Prepare variation orders, progress payments, claims, site measurement and finalisation of accounts
- Source for quotation from Specialist subcontractors and suppliers
- Review and advise Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specifications
- Monitor project delivery to ensure materials are in accordance to contractual terms and conditions
- Attend site meetings
- To monitor the work progresses and operation at site
- To liaise with Consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and internal department in resolving project development and technical issues
- To assess work done with Sub-con
- Handle other assigned duties as required
- Independent, analytical, organized and possess positive working attitude
- Good Negotiation and Communication Skills
Requirements:
- Candidate must posses at Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably specializing in Quantity Surveying, Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
