Quantity Surveyor

Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:

. Responsible for quantity surveying and cost estimating

. Checking and analysing of tenders

. Preparing economic feasibility studies from information provided by Architects, Engineers or Planners

. Preparing progressive claims

. Ensure that project files, drawings, specification and bidding contracts are maintained

. Update and record variation or omission order issued of each project, record certified claims

. Verify sub-contractor's claims for approval

. Prepare and purchase insurance for project such as Performance Bond

. Any other adhoc works.

Minimum Qualifications/Experiences:

. Construction / Building related Diploma/Degree

. Preferably with some relevant working experience in construction or aluminium related industry.

. Fresh graduates are welcome

Knowledge/skills Required:

. Proficient in MS Office

. Good knowledge in mathematical calculation

. Knowledge of building codes

. Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction

. Possess skill in reading and interpreting plans and specifications

. Possess skills in accurate measurement, preparation on tender, calculation, pricing and quotation

. Understand the relevant standard forms of Building

. Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
