Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven QuantitySurveyor to join our growing team.This hybrid role combines cost estimation, project evaluation, and contractmanagement with client acquisition, relationship building, and business growthactivities. You will play a key role in supporting the company's Repair,Repainting, Redecoration Works, and Waterproofing Solutions projects forresidential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Quantity Surveying Responsibilities:
. Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills ofQuantities (BOQ) for repair, repainting, redecoration, and waterproofingprojects.
. Conduct site inspections to assess the scope of work, siteconditions, and project requirements.
. Analyse drawings, specifications, and client needs todetermine material, labor, and timeframe estimates.
. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers andsubcontractors for competitive quotations and service agreements.
. Prepare, review, and submit quotations, tender documents,and proposals aligned with project scopes and company pricing strategies.
. Monitor project costs, evaluate variations, and supportthe preparation of progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
. Coordinate closely with project and operations teams toensure project delivery within budget and client expectations.
. Ensure all activities comply with company standards,contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying,Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Marketing,Administration or a related field.
. Minimum 1 or 2 years of relevant experience, preferably inrepair, repainting, waterproofing projects, or A&A Works.
. Experience in handling HDB projects is a plus
. Proven experience in client relationship management andbusiness development is preferred.
. Strong knowledge of materials, cost estimation, tendering,and contract administration.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, andknowledge of quantity surveying software (eg. AutoCAD, PlanSwift).
. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentationskills, both in technical and client-facing contexts.
. Strong interpersonal skills to foster client relationshipsand promote services.
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in afast-paced environment.
. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multipleprojects and deadlines.
