Job Description & Requirements:
The Quantity Surveyor Manager is responsible for managing project commercial and financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control, subcontractor and contract management, and collaboration with finance teams. The role ensures projects are delivered within budget and supports the development of the company's commercial management system. Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in relevant quantity surveying or commercial management roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in project budgeting and cost planning.
- Manage commercial aspects of projects, including payment requests, variations, ledger maintenance, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with the finance department on reporting, audits, and financial compliance.
- Provide guidance on cost control and commercial strategy to support project delivery.
- Support company leadership with other commercial tasks and contribute to the development of the company's business management system.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience at least 3 years in quantity surveying or project commercial management.
- Strong knowledge of project costing, contract administration, payment and variation processes, and subcontractor management.
- Familiarity with project financial reporting and collaboration with finance teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
