Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

. Preparation of tender submissions including taking off quantities and sourcing for quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors Sourcing, negotiation and evaluation of quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers through preparation of price comparison.

. Quantity take-off and cost breakdown for Pre and Post contract.

. Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

. Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders.

. Liaise with project team for material ordering, issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers and cost control.

. Work closely with teammates.

. Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

. Team player

. Prefer QS and accounting background

. Ability to communicate with all levels

. PC literate and proficient in MS Office

. Experience in tiles, furnishing and lighting trade.

. Ability to read layout and plan drawings

. Ability to perform under tight schedules and meet deadlines
