Are you a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) ready for your next step This position supports an established specialist engineering firm managing plumbing, sanitary, and irrigation projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities
. Perform accurate quantity take-offs from M&E drawings for plumbing, sanitary, and irrigation systems.
. Prepare and submit monthly progress claims while tracking certified amounts against original project budgets.
. Issue requests for quotations and negotiate commercial terms with various subcontractors and material suppliers.
. Assess and verify variation orders to ensure proper substantiation and minimize potential project cost risks.
. Maintain detailed project cost trackers and perform regular material reconciliation to ensure budget control.
. Coordinate with the accounts department to verify delivery orders against invoices for payment certification.
. Manage the end-to-end subcontract award process and assist with the final account reconciliation phase.

Job Requirements
. Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
. At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a quantity surveying capacity.
. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex M&E drawings and technical project specifications.
. Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and project reporting.
. Ability to work effectively with both project managers and external subcontractors on commercial matters.
. Strong fresh graduates with relevant academic backgrounds and internships will also be considered.
