Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and budgets for construction projects.
- Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
- Monitor project costs and track variations to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants on cost-related issues.
- Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years of QS experience in main contractor company handling large scale buildings/infrastructure projects
- Candidates with more than 3 years of experience will be considered for the Senior Quantity Surveyor position.
- Able to communicate effectively to liaise with client & sub-contractors
- At least Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building/Construction/Civil Engineering
