Job Description
This role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of cost and procurement functions across high-end hospitality and residential projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Budgeting & Cost Planning
- Develop and monitor project budgets from inception through completion.
- Prepare cost plans, cash flow projections, and financial reporting.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Handle end-to-end procurement including budgeting, sourcing, tendering, design coordination and contract negotiations.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Oversee procurement of specialist interior packages, furniture, fittings, and equipment (FF&E).
- Contract Administration
- Draft, review, and administer contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Manage payment processes, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
- Tender & Cost Control
- Prepare tender documentation and manage tender processes.
- Conduct measurement, taking-off, and cost estimation.
- Evaluate tenders, negotiate terms, and provide recommendations.
- Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor financial performance of projects and provide regular cost advice.
- Support decision-making with clear, data-driven analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to high-end hospitality and residential projects.
- Strong background in procurement, budgeting, contract administration, and cost management.
- Proven experience in tendering, cashflow forecasting, payments, variations, and final accounts.
- Knowledge of construction and interior fit-out procurement.
- Familiarity with FF&E, finishes, and design-led procurement is preferred
