About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our interior renovation team. The QS will play a key role in cost management, tender preparation, and project financial tracking, ensuring that all submissions and documentation meet industry and regulatory standards. This position offers exposure to both commercial and residential projects, with the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth in tendering platforms such as GeBIZ, BCI, and Tender Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate tender submissions, quotations, and cost estimates for interior renovation projects.
- Manage GeBIZ, BCI, and Tender Board submissions, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Conduct cost analysis, measurement of works, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Work closely with project managers and designers to provide cost advice during project planning.
- Monitor project budgets, variations, and payment claims throughout project lifecycle.
- Assist in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant BCA, HDB, URA, and MOM regulations in all cost-related submissions.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in renovation, fit-out, or construction projects.
- Familiar with GeBIZ, BCI, and Tender Board platforms for submission and tendering processes.
- Strong technical knowledge of renovation and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic cost management software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Own transport will be an advantage (for site visits and supplier coordination).
