About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for estimating costs, preparing bills of quantities, managing contracts, and ensuring projects remain within budget whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role is essential to our project delivery success and directly impacts the profitability and reputation of our organisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare stone layout montages and technical drawings based on project requirements and customer specifications.
• Produce and update AutoCAD drawings based on site measurements and approved dimensions.
• Assist the Sales team in issuing work orders, preparing quotations, invoices, and related project documentation.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, architects, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and resolve commercial or contractual matters.
• Process and verify contractor claims, variation orders, and payment records to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and documentation for internal reference and project tracking.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support project costing and quantity take-offs where required.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
