Job Summary
You will manage project costing and administration by interpreting construction drawings, preparing quotations and contracts, and coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Interpret construction drawings and measurements accurately to support project planning
- Conduct detailed cost analysis, cost estimation, and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate project costing
- Prepare project quotations and contracts to facilitate client agreements and project initiation
- Compile project administration and documentation, including preparation of sub-contracts, variation orders, interim valuations, and final accounts to maintain project records
- Coordinate and assist Sales, Site Supervisors, Technical, and Production Departments to support seamless project execution
- Perform assigned administrative duties to support overall project and departmental functions
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Building, Structural, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with both English and Chinese-speaking associates and stakeholders (language proficiency required to support communication within the company and project teams)
- Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and strong problem-solving skills to enhance project accuracy and efficiency
