Are you a Quantity Surveyor who speaks the language of circuits, single-line diagrams, and ELV systems
Our client, a leading player in the M&E construction space, is looking for a technically-savvy Electrical Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the financial and contractual lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects.
Technical Estimation: Perform detailed quantity take-offs from electrical drawings, schematic diagrams, and cable routing layouts.
Cost Management: Manage the full suite of electrical components, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and extra-low voltage (ELV) systems.
Tendering: Prepare and analyze competitive tenders, ensuring all electrical specifications and statutory codes are met.
Contract Administration: Handle progress claims, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts specifically for electrical work packages.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to calculate electrical maximum demand and ensure cost-efficiency without compromising safety.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Surveying, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in M&E quantity surveying (fresh grads with a strong electrical background may be considered).
Technical Must-Haves: . Deep understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and components.
Ability to interpret complex electrical schematic diagrams.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Familiarity with specialized costing software is a major plus.
Compliance: Strong knowledge of local electrical standards and building codes.
