Quantity Surveyor (QS)
. Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and budgets for construction projects.
. Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
. Monitor project costs and track variations to ensure the project stays within budget.
. Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
. Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants on cost-related issues.
. Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
. Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.
. Oversee all cost control activities across multiple projects.
. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
. Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and potential risks to senior management.
. Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.
Requirement:
. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
. Quantity Surveyor requires 2 years of experience in cost estimation and contract management.
