Job Description

Our client, an established engineering company in Singapore, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to support tendering, costing and commercial activities for engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates for materials, labour, quantities and project requirements.
Prepare tender documents and commercial submissions.
Evaluate quotations and bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
Assist with contract and commercial negotiations.
Monitor project budgets, costs and variation works.
Prepare cost forecasts and commercial reports.
Assess completed works and support progress claims.
Process subcontractor payment assessments.
Assist in managing variation orders and contractual claims.
Identify commercial risks and support the resolution of contractual matters.
Conduct occasional project site checks when required.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline with an electrical background.
Electrical knowledge / background is required.
Candidates with relevant QS, tendering, costing or electrical project experience are welcome.
Fresh graduates with a relevant electrical background are encouraged to apply.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Comfortable with occasional project-site visits.
