Roles & Responsibilities:
Tender Stage:
- Maintain and track all tender documents, drawings, and corrigenda in accordance with document control procedures.
- Review tender drawings/details and prepare tender enquiries.
- Assist superiors in calling for quotations, selecting qualified subcontractors/vendors, and distributing relevant tender documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs for tender projects within set timelines.
- Assist in tender evaluations and preparation of submission documents.
- Ensure all documentary evidence and records are properly documented, filed, and maintained for substantiation purposes.
- Able to read and interpret M&E drawings.
Execution Stage:
- Conduct site verification of variations and record details for claim submissions.
- Assist the Project Manager or designated staff in evaluating and certifying completed works.
- Assist in verifying subcontractors claims.
- Support and monitor the progress of claim submissions and payments (under the Contract Manager's supervision).
- Monitor all ongoing orders and report on the outstanding balance.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Knowledge and experience in M&E systems preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Quick learner and open to acquiring new skills and technologies.
