Job Description
- Conduct site measurements, verify dimensions and assess project requirements.
- Calculate material, labour and subcontractor costs based on drawings and site conditions.
- Prepare accurate quotations using the company's approved price list and profit margin guidelines.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor actual project costs against approved budgets and identify cost overruns.
- Prepare VO quotations and obtain approval before additional work begins.
- Coordinate with ID/Sales, Operations, Accounts and subcontractors regarding project costs and requirements.
- Prepare progress claims and verify subcontractor payment claims against completed work.
- Track project gross profit, cost changes and expected final profit.
