Quantity Surveyor cum Design Engineer

Job Description:QS

• Responsible for quantity take off and cost estimation
• Preparation of tender & quotation submission and follow up with tender clarifications and interview
• Source quotation, liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Attend site meetings to capture all variation claims, preparation of interim valuations and potential variation works
• Liaise with engineers and clients for tender clarifications
• Maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner
• Handle other assigned duties or related job as required
• Proficient in Autocad sanitary plumbing
• Candidate is proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Knowledge in AUTOCAD (2D & 3D) & BIM drawing
• Plan, manage and execute design work, typically from concept through to completion and manage design changes during construction stages
• Plan all drawing request to meet the submission deadline
• On time delivery drawings, correct and accurate drawings
• Work closely with assigned PM on Autocad and Drawing Status reporting
• To attend site walk as and when required by the Engineers and Managers
• Ensure compliance with the relevant design codes and specifications
