Quantity Surveyor (Cost Management/ A1 Maincon)

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and review monthly cost reports against projections, documenting variances with clear justification and supporting details.

• Analyze project-specific requirements to forecast potential additional costs based on projections.

• Ensure payment and projection allocations are aligned with specific work items.

• Review and validate projection costs alongside monthly closing of purchase orders with site teams.

• Monitor and control site expenses across all trades.

• Source quotations and prepare comparison analyses.

• Verify quantities from drawings through manual measurement or using software such as CostX or other appropriate tools.

• Obtain trade-specific quotations for ongoing works.

• Track project variation order (VO) lists, including calculation of expected profit.

• Conduct negotiations on final accounts with vendors.
