Responsibilities
. Play a pivotal role inmanaging the financial aspects of construction projects.
. will be responsible forestimating project costs, monitoring budgets, and ensuring that the projectremains financially viable from inception to completion.
. Prepare accurate anddetailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural andengineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
. Collaborate with design andengineering teams to understand project requirements and provide cost adviceduring the planning phase.
. Develop, monitor, andcontrol project budgets throughout the construction lifecycle.
. Collaborate with projectmanagers to ensure that budgetary constraints are adhered to and financialgoals are achieved.
. Assist in the tenderingprocess by preparing and evaluating tender documents.
. Review contractor andsupplier bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with projectspecifications and budget constraints.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, ConstructionManagement, or a related field.
. Professional accreditation is desirable.
. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in theconstruction industry.
. Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
. Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiationskills.
. Excellent communication skills, both written andverbal.
