QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Colebuild Pte Ltd, a leading construction company in the East Region Singapore, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Team in Singapore. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring optimal cost management, working as supportive team player and project delivery. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

• Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

• Assisting Seniors on monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process

• Preparing and analyzing progress claims, variations, and final accounts

• Providing expert advice and support to the project team on commercial and contractual matters

• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

• Collaborating with the QS team and project team to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project efficiency

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, Civil & Architectural graduate preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Minimum 12 years of experience in landed housing Re-built/A&A/Renovation projects

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles on every services including Carpentry and MEP related.

• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software (eg. Bluebeam) and MS Office applications. Understanding of using ERP system will be a surplus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
