Job Description
SUN CITY MAINTENANCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the Central Region on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our cleaning services division, where you will play a crucial role in project costing, budgeting, and financial management. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning contracts and projects are accurately priced, efficiently resourced, and delivered within budget parameters. This role is essential to our operational success, enabling us to maintain competitive pricing whilst ensuring profitability and quality service delivery.
Job Details
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Salary range: $3000 to $4500
Key responsibilities
Support maintenance and project works.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
Review and verify contractors quotations, invoices, and payment claims.
Monitor project costs, contracts, variations, and provisional sums.
Conduct joint measurements and verify completed works with contractors.
Prepare tender documents, evaluate tenders, and recommend suitable contractors.
Review contract documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and project costing.
Manage contractors works, including quotations, variations, and claims.
Monitor performance bonds, bank documents, and insurance requirements.
Prepare progress payment and final account recommendations.
Conduct regular project audits and cost checks.
Provide professional advice on contract matters, penalties, and liquidated damages.
Support term contractors for A&A works.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
What we're looking for
Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
