Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Proficiency in cost estimation and quantity takeoff techniques.
Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and procurement processes.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Generally covering the scope of a Quantity Surveyor from Pre to Post contract Works (e.g. Tendering to final account).
Requirements
Diploma in QS or Engineering its equivalent
5 years and above experience as QS
3 years and above experience in Plumbing & Sanitary in Construction Industry
Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
