Job Description

We are a subcontractor specializing in architectural, façade, metal works, and interior finishing works. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project costing, tendering, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

. Prepare and evaluate project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BQ)

. Handle tender submissions, including pricing, breakdown, and supporting documents

. Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

. Perform quantity take-off and cost analysis for various trades

. Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts

. Monitor project costs and ensure works are within budget

. Track material usage and project cost performance

. Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Main Contractors on cost-related matters

. Assist in contract administration and documentation

Job Requirements

. Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or related field

. Minimum 3 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in subcontracting works

. Experience in architectural / interior / metal works / façade projects will be an advantage

. Good understanding of BQ, cost estimation, and tender process

. Able to perform quantity take-off from drawings independently

. Familiar with variation claims and progress claims

. Proficient in Microsoft Excel

. Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

. Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills / Experience

. Experience working with Main Contractors in Singapore

. Familiar with standard forms of contract (e.g. SIA / PSSCOC)

. Experience handling multiple trades and fast-paced projects
