QUANTITY SURVEYOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-Contract:

• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Ascertain client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• Manage risk and control cost
• Advise on procurement strategy
• Evaluate technical / commercial submission of Sub-Contractors and vendors
• Perform as a Tender Owner when directed and carry out full coordination amongst the Tender Team members
• Review completeness of tender documentation and clarify with Project's Consultants on discrepancies in tender documentation
• Prepare Bid program to meet submission schedule
• Prepare Pre and Post Bid Tender clarification with Consultants
• Prepare deviation / assumption list during tender submission
• Provide advice on contractual claims
• Review and prepare List of Risks

Post Contract:

• Preparation of revised cost / time estimate, based on agreed list of deviation / assumption list
• Review / Check contract document before signing
• Refine the updated cost inputs / BOQ
• Provide support to Project's mobilization
• Estimate completed work and arrange payments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Building/Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in tendering for condominium projects in Singapore.
• Experience in tender preparation for at least two Singapore building projects
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Bilingual is highly preferred.
