Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare key commercial documents such as procurement schedules, cashflow forecasts, and margin plans
• Send enquiries for assigned packages and manage clarifications
• Analyse subcontractor/supplier tenders and prepare comparisons
• Flag risks or discrepancies in tender documents to the lead estimator
• Prepare and verify quantity takeoffs and BOQs according to client specifications and drawings
• Coordinate with the estimating team and align with management's strategy
• Support change management: measure/value variations, price RFPs, and issue contractual notices on time
• Assist with monthly commercial reporting (internal and client-facing)
• Track costs and margins and propose improvement measures
• Administer main contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance
• Prepare interim and external valuations
• Maintain accurate commercial records and drawing/register control
• Assist in concluding final accounts with clients and subcontractors per agreed standards and timelines
• Support closeout activities and apply for retention release after defect rectification
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management and supervisors

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience in tender preparation and project management
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and ISO standards
• 13 years of relevant experience preferred
