Manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying duties including procurement, budgeting, cost estimation, contract administration, and measurement of quantities.
Evaluate and process variation orders and support cost control efforts throughout project life cycles.
Source and assess new subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) and tender documents in coordination with relevant departments.
Review and compare subcontractor/supplier quotations, conduct evaluations, and provide recommendations.
Participate in procurement meetings and support the preparation of price data and procurement reports.
Provide tendering support, especially in pricing exercises and Value Engineering/Cost Down (VECD) proposals.
Collaborate with site teams to support contract administration, including main contracts, subcontract management, interim payments, and final accounts.
Assist the QS Manager in managing all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance and profitability.
Requirements:
Relevant working experience in quantity surveying, with site-based experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a good understanding of construction processes and contract law.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
