Quantitative Developer (Commodities)

Role overview:

The Quantitative Developer will sit within a commodities team in Singapore, with a focus on the broad metals and bulks universe.

Responsibilities:

. Design and implement a research platform for feature engineering, model fitting and strategy monetization

. Work with fundamental analysts to codify supply and demand models and implement in a python environment

. Maintain automatic fundamental data pipeline updates

. Conduct backtests of fundamental modelled outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Python development, with preference for experience with visualisation tools such as Plotly, Dash etc.

. Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Docker and Jenkins as developmental tools, as this is required the handling of complex internal systems

. Minimum 2 years of professional experience with SQL, as well as AWS or other cloud computing experience

. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
