The Quality Technician Auditor is responsible for performing in-process quality control audits and inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures that products meet internal and customer quality standards by identifying process deviations, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement in production quality.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and training to operators on quality requirements and best practices.
Conduct regular in-process audits and inspections at various stages of manufacturing to verify compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Utilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to assess product and process conformity.
Document audit findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions in detailed reports for traceability.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address process deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvements.
Support root cause analysis for quality issues and participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams.
Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Maintain 6S standards in the production and audit areas.
Present audit results and improvement recommendations to supervisors and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.
Ability to work on 12 hours shift and work in the production line.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to apply them effectively in daily work.
Preferred:
Experience in in-process quality control or manufacturing audits preferred.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and inspection techniques is preferred.
Fundamental knowledge of AI tools is an advantage.
Good project management skills and continuous improvement knowledge is preferred.
Assists engineers in testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products, processes and/or production equipment. Report such data to management and production engineering so problematic areas may be addressed.
