Job Summary
The QSHE Executive will implement, monitor, and enhance the company's Quality, Safety, and Environmental management systems in alignment with senior management directives. This role drives compliance with international standards and corporate policies, supporting workshop and business operations to achieve operational excellence and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems to ensure compliance with international standards and corporate requirements
- Coordinate and manage external certification audits and internal audits to verify system effectiveness and compliance
- Facilitate Management Review Meetings and prepare comprehensive reports to inform leadership decision-making
- Serve as a domain knowledge resource to support relevant departments in QSHE matters
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and promote QSHE awareness among staff to enhance organizational culture
- Support management and corporate initiatives by monitoring performance and recommending improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation control and records management to ensure traceability and compliance
- Monitor and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements related to quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Assist management in ensuring workplace safety and environmental compliance through risk assessments and Environmental Aspect Impact Analysis
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Organize and deliver safety training, toolbox meetings, and safety campaigns to build employee competency and awareness
- Liaise effectively with regulatory authorities, auditors, and corporate safety representatives to ensure alignment and compliance
- Monitor environmental aspects including waste management, chemical handling, and pollution control to mitigate environmental risks
- Develop and conduct QSHE training and awareness programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills
- Support employee competency development related to QSHE to foster a safe and compliant work environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in engineering, technical, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in QSHE roles or operational experience supporting QSHE functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Professional certifications in QSHE or related fields (advantageous)
- Experience in marine, oil & gas, or engineering industries (preferred)
- Strong communication and coordination skills demonstrated through collaboration with management and staff
- Proactive, self-motivated team player with effective interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills applied to maintain compliance and support audits
