Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the R&D team on quality planning from the early stage of product development.
  • Manage overall quality activities across the Business Unit, including product development, customer requirements, sales support, inventory, and product transition.
  • Set quality goals for the BU and support departments in achieving them.
  • Build and improve quality systems, project development processes, and IPD processes.
  • Identify project risks, monitor product quality performance, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Handle customer complaints, major quality issues, and product quality problems, ensuring proper follow-up and closure.
  • Monitor project process compliance and lead technical review assessments.
  • Use data analysis to identify problems and improve processes continuously.
  • Organize stage review meetings during the R&D phase.
  • Conduct process training and strengthen team quality capabilities.
  • Promote quality awareness and a strong quality culture across the BU.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or above, with at least 5 years of experience in quality-related roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial position. Experience in R&D quality is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality-related work, preferably in R&D quality.
  • Familiar with ISO9001 and quality tools such as 8D, QC tools, APQP, FMEA, Six Sigma, and QCC.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Familiar with hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanical development processes.
  • Knowledge of IPD processes experience in setting up or implementing IPD is an advantage.
