Quality Engineer - Tester

Job Description

. We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies.

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating test scripts, analyzing application performance, and ensuring systems meet defined performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

. Develop and execute performance test scripts using Micro Focus LoadRunner to simulate real-world user scenarios.

. Record application workflows and design test cases for performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.

. Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

. Fine-tune testing parameters to align with expected performance metrics and business requirements. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to define and validate performance test scenarios.

. Monitor application behavior under load and ensure system stability and responsiveness.

. Prepare detailed performance test reports and share findings with stakeholders.

. Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, ensuring adherence to QA standards and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

. Strong hands-on experience with Micro Focus LoadRunner (mandatory).

. Solid understanding of performance testing concepts: load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

. Experience in scripting, execution, and analysis of performance tests.

. Knowledge of testing lifecycle and QA methodologies.

. Ability to fine-tune tool configurations and optimize performance testing strategies.

. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

. Experience with other performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, NeoLoad) is a plus.

. Basic understanding of application architecture, APIs, and databases.

. Experience in identifying system bottlenecks and performance tuning.
