Job Description

Responsibilities

60%

  • Maintain & continuously improve our Integrated Management Systems (ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001).
  • Plan and lead internal audits and coordinate external certification and surveillance audits.
  • Cascade company objectives into departmental targets facilitate periodic Management Review Meetings and report progress, nonconformities, and improvement actions to ensure the targets of departments and the company will be achieved.
  • Organize QHES committee meeting to ensure all the QHES information to be shared with the managements, as well as to keep the direction clear
  • bizSAFE certificate:
  • Maintain bizSAFE certificate, plan and lead external audit for the certification renewal.
  • Develop and deliver QEHS inductions and refresher programs for staff and site personnel maintain training matrix and competency records.
  • Share the instructions, news and materials from HQ as well as updates and information shared by local authorities inside the company in timely manner to ensure all the employees are fully aware of the latest information.
  • Lead risk assessment for project sites and ensure compliance with all relevant occupational safety and health regulations, site-specific safety rules, and company policies.
  • Perform regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, or potential risks, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor changes to Singapore WSH and any other requirements ensure permits, licenses, and statutory inspections are current liaise with regulators and third-party auditors as needed plan and lead external audit regarding to QEHS.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and follow up on preventive measures.
  • Consolidate and submit safety performance, environmental metrics, and quality KPIs per corporate schedules ensure data integrity and auditability.
  • Support the superiors to propose and conduct necessary action to promote and keep the corporate culture to prioritize QEHS.

40%

  • Plays the role of Regional QEHS lead. Certification landscape:
  • Support the superiors to map group companies required ISO certifications (e.g., 9001/14001/45001), renewal cycles, and audit status escalate gaps and provide necessary support for each entity.
  • Review local QEHS organization, risk controls, and leading/lagging indicators conduct remote/onsite assessments and coach smaller entities lacking in-house expertise.
  • Support the superiors to roll out corporate QEHS standards, campaigns, and training harmonise procedures and forms support incident investigations and share lessons learned and any other QHES information across the region.
  • Support the superiors to propose and conduct necessary action to promote and keep the corporate culture to prioritize QEHS.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Quality/Industrial Management or related).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience to manage QEHS in the industry of power plants, industrial plants, or O&G.
  • Experience to handle ISO External Audit regionally.
  • Experience to maintain bizSAFE certificate, handle external audit for renewal.
  • Exposure to sustainability reporting (waste, energy, water, emissions etc.) and corporate initiatives.
  • Experience of working in Engineering of power plants and industrial plants equipment.
  • Experience to manage and lead a team which is responsible to strictly keep the compliance coordinating and communicating with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of power plant business, key components of the power plant and other equipment, and plant construction process.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management (QEHS - Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety), ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards and audit practice.
  • Competent in risk assessment methodologies, incident root-cause analysis.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency, with the ability to take prompt action whenever required to keep QEHS.
  • Detail-oriented and adept at compiling, organizing, and storing data and meeting records in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Excellent skills to communicate with others with logical and reasonable background to coach, train, and influence all levels-from technicians to senior leadership.
  • Takes accountability for outcomes sets clear standards. Ability to work independently but judge and make a report whenever appropriate. Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary output.
  • Desire to continuously improve. Analytical and problem-solving skill. Use data to prioritise risks and drive measurable improvements to quality, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Comfortable supporting multiple sites with diverse maturity levels occasional travel in APAC. Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment, and willingness to adapt to new work practices.

  • Internal Auditor Certification
  • Project Management Essential Training
