Quality Engineer (PFMEA) Precision Manufacturing

Our client is one of the local market leader in Precision Manufacturing. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for Quality Engineer, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Role Responsibilities

• Administer and control the organisation's quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485, ensuring documentation integrity and audit preparedness.

• Organise and execute internal audits and support third-party, customer and supplier assessments, including tracking findings through to closure.

• Evaluate audit outcomes, define corrective actions and monitor implementation effectiveness to support continuous improvement.

• Oversee supplier quality performance by analysing reports, addressing material discrepancies and driving corrective actions.

• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), including issuance, follow-up and verification of corrective action effectiveness.

• Support onboarding, qualification and periodic review of suppliers to sustain production continuity.

• Ensure calibration compliance and preventive maintenance activities are reviewed and maintained for relevant equipment.

• Lead investigations into production and customer-related quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions with formal documentation.

• Chair Material Review Board (MRB) discussions to conduct root cause analysis, agree on disposition and assess corrective action outcomes.

• Supervise QC inspectors to ensure inspection activities comply with engineering drawings and quality requirements.

Key Qualifications & Technical Expertise

• Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline.

• Min. 3 years of hands-on experience managing quality systems and audits in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in supplier quality and corrective action management.

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and ISO 22301 standards.

• Practical application of PFMEA, Control Plans and Gage R&R.
