Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new outsourcing partners including EMS, PCB, and component suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments (process, QMS, capacity, etc.).
- Monitor and manage supplier performance through KPIs (quality, delivery, responsiveness).
- Lead problem-solving with suppliers using structured tools (8D, 5Whys, etc.), and track corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Identify and define incoming inspection criteria and quality standards for outsourced parts and products.
- Perform hands-on testing and evaluation of incoming components and finished products to identify potential quality issues or deviations.
- Analyze defective samples, conduct root cause investigations, and provide detailed technical feedback to suppliers
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in electronic components, PCBA, or electro-mechanical assembly is preferred
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and quality specifications
