We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Quality Engineer
Location: Singapore, Changi North
The Quality function ensures that customer requirements are understood and translated into robust processes that comply with legal and quality approval requirements. This is achieved by working with all employees to increase the company's efficiency, effectiveness and profitability by identifying and facilitating opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Be the point of technical expertise and knowledge of aircraft product, specifications, requirements and drawing interpretation, to ensure resolving of product queries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform containment, investigate, and implement root cause corrective actions for customer concerns related to aircraft products and services.
- Customer-facing interface to represent the company professionally and positively giving technical advice to customers.
- Advanced ability to research technical specs to provide assessments and advice to customers.
- To build effective working relationships with customers, to understand specific customer needs and expectations, and translate into robust processes or customer-focused improvement projects.
- Lead customer-focused improvement projects to deliver improved performance to customers and to Incora.
- Develop relationships with local or overseas customers (or suppliers); drive customer (or supplier) improvement activity to promote the long-term interest of the business.
- Coach/Support the local Inspection team to ensure the team's capability meets current and future requirements in support of Function and Company strategies.
- To lead and ensure Key Performance Indicators are met and improved.
- To lead and ensure activities are compliance to Quality Management System and customer requirements.
- Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.
Requirements
- Relevant education in engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing desired)
- 3+ years of relevant experience working
- Aerospace experience will be an plus
- Experience in problem resolution/root cause analysis
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement activities
- Proven experience in customer/supplier technical quality concerns
- Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Advance English language proficiency (other APAC languages desirable)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good collaboration skills
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
