Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support packing material quality, supplier management and quality-related activities for IC products in a semiconductor environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with packing material suppliers to design or select suitable carriers such as trays and carrier tapes for IC products.
  • Review packing material designs and recommend changes where required.
  • Draft, maintain and update supplier- and customer-facing documents related to packing and media.
  • Resolve non-conformance issues related to supplied materials and follow up with suppliers on corrective actions.
  • Support the onboarding of new suppliers for packing and labelling.
  • Support the management of third-party suppliers involved in reinspection and repacking of IC products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality requirements are met.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly Assembly & Test and packing materials, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering drawing applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and supplier coordination skills.
