Job Description:
- Perform inbound quality inspection for fresh produce based on TAMU standards.
- Random checks on refrigerated truck and product temperature.
- Verification on product and vehicle check records.
- Random checks on product expiry date and product labelling.
- Perform housekeeping checks at pick face and reserved locations for product quality and remove items that are not suitable for sale.
- Perform tote checks at QC station to ensure correct items & quantity, good quality products, packaging condition, bagging requirement and freshness guarantee.
- Perform analytical testing and sensory evaluation on fresh produce.
- Conduct routine inspection on warehouse cleanliness and highlight non-compliances for follow up actions.
- Assist QC Supervisor in any other assigned duties.
Job Requirements:
- Fresh QC must be comfortable with working in cold environment (ranged between 0 to 15C)
- Must be comfortable with carrying heavy loads, ranges from 5 to 20kg for short distances.
- Good attendance, hard-working and willing to learn
- Responsible and detailed oriented
- Good team player and collaborative to achieve team's objectives
