JOB DESCRIPTION:
Department: Quality Control Department
Report to: Quality Control Department Manager
Functional Relationships with: Work closely with quality Inspection teams to ensure quality specifications are within control and abnormalities are reported timely. Fulfilling requirements set by designers / customers through measurement controls and established quality system.
POSITION PROFILE:
Based in: Singapore
Job site: Tuas
- The successful candidate will collaborate and participate in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and equipment calibration (for quality related measurement) of battery cells manufacturing fulfilling requirements set by country law, certification bodies, customers & Murata.
- Selected candidate will work in cross functional teams (e.g. with Product engineers, Sales, Equipment & Manufacturing teams) for Quality improvement support (new product introduction / 4M change).
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the Manufacturing Process Maintenance System (MPMS) as administrators to facilitates control for SPC and MSA. Manage & review Statistical Process Control limits in regular intervals.
- Ensure operations are adherence to ISO standards, internal quality policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation. Review & maintain the QMS documents related to QC operations.
- Involve in projects on automation of workflow (Using VBA / RPA).
- Involve in Cross Functional Team (CFT) projects & development.
ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Diploma holder in Electronics / Electrical engineering or equivalent with (5 years) relevant experiences.
- Good capability in designing/developing effective measurement cases based on requirements and creating traceability between requirements and sampling procedures.
- Possess strong interest and self-motivation to implement IoT, cloud computing with the objective to contribute towards a better reporting and data capturing system.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision on a tight schedule.
- Knowledge of Visual basic application /RPA / IoT/ PBI and computer network will be an advantage.
