Job Description

Quality Lab Analyst, Taste & Wellbeing (1 year contract)

Working location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Reporting to: Head of Quality

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform sensory evaluation, chemical, physical analysis of flavoring products and ingredients to ensure compliance with established standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for approval/rejection decisions on finished products and raw materials, including verification and review of test methods, specifications, and relevant procedures/work instructions.
  • Support microbiological sampling of flavoring products, raw materials, environmental surfaces, and water to ensure hygienic and compliant operations.
  • Lead and execute quality investigations related to products and raw materials, identify root causes, and follow through on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of all quality issues.
  • Support the Cleaning and Environmental Monitoring Program, ensuring adherence to GMP, hygiene standards, and contamination control requirements.
  • Maintenance of laboratory / Quality Control equipment includes monitoring equipment calibration.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within QC processes, testing efficiency, and quality system performance.
  • Integrate HACCP, FSSC 22000, and EHS requirements into daily QC operations and provide full support during internal, external, and customer audits.

Main Requirements

  • Education background in food science with no working experience OR minimum 2 years working experience in food manufacturing (may it be R&D, quality control, lab roles, etc)
  • Laboratory or QC techniques required
  • Basic sensory evaluation capability / food manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Operational experience and affinity on laboratory system, analytical equipment and instruments testing experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
  • Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology
