Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our Central Kitchen team. You will be responsible for ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and consistency. You will play a critical role in maintaining our HACCP/ISO certifications and ensuring that our production processes comply with local food health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Inspections: Conduct routine checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure they meet established specifications (sensory, weight, and packaging).
Food Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce GHP (Good Hygiene Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) across the production floor.
Audit Management: Assist in maintaining documentation for HACCP, ISO 22000, or SFA/local health department audits.
Temperature & Hygiene Monitoring: Oversee cold chain integrity by monitoring chiller/freezer temperatures and ensuring staff adhere to strict sanitation protocols.
Sample Testing: Coordinate microbial testing with external labs and perform internal shelf-life testing.
Corrective Action: Identify deviations in the production process, investigate root causes, and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA).
Training: Conduct basic food safety and hygiene briefings for kitchen staff and new hires.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC within an F&B central kitchen or food manufacturing environment.
Skills: Strong understanding of local food regulations (e.g., SFA/FDA standards). High attention to detail and the ability to stand/walk for long periods in a kitchen environment.
Certifications: Certified in HACCP/Level 3 or 4 Food Safety is highly preferred.
Mindset: A firm but fair approach to enforcing standards and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
