Job Description

To ensure that all products and processes within the plant meet established quality standards, comply with regulations, and satisfy customer requirements, while driving continuous improvement across operations. Ensure quality leadership and training provide to the employee. Organize and implement regular audit & inspection to check the consistency of the quality management system. Define plant quality objectives aligned with corporate and divisional goals.

  1. Responsible to supervise and manage the day-to-day quality activities include but not limited to manpower management, quality equipment, quality issue, quality documents, quality review of new order, manage customer representative/TPI and quality performance management.
  2. Responsible for quality team member management which include but not limited to inspector of In-coming, In-process, final Inspection, quality documentation (RFA, COC & Work Router), gauges management. Emphasize on personnel attitude, discipline, teamwork spirit & work performance.
  3. Responsible for develop, maintain, update and effective implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure process and product quality criteria are always met per standard, customer and specification requirement.
  4. Responsible to manage and handle of internal & external audit (include but not limited to monthly quality visit, in-process audit, annual internal audit, API Q1 & 5CT, ISO 9001, VAM® audit and Customer audits to ensure quality management system are work well and compliance to the requirement.
  5. Responsible for regular quality performance reporting which include but not limited to daily FST meeting of minutes, monthly report, quarterly report, annual management review meeting, annual opportunity & risk assessment and customer performance review.
  6. Responsible to manage internal & external quality issue which include but not limited to Quality Near Miss, Internal NCR issue, Customer dissatisfaction & Claims issues. Lead to manage the investigation, root cause analysis (RCA), define containment actions, and preventive & corrective actions (CAPA).
  7. Liaise and work with other head of department, to plan, arrange, manage and effective implement quality specification training to all relevant process owner when there is revision update on customers specification, VAM® spec., SOP, Work Instruction.
  8. Brainstorm ideas, lead and implement continue improvement program to improve work efficiency among operators job scopes, quality control process, standard operation procedure and quality awareness.
  9. Responsible to plan, monitor and control of departmental CAPEX and money expenses in the quality division refer to preset approved budget.
  10. Responsible for Quality Objective, KPIs & Roadmap planning and setting for department and company. Monitor and follow up closely with other management team to set quality benchmarks. Plan & implement to achieve the performance goals.
  11. Responsible for ad-hoc project related to Quality which include but not limited to new product and process qualification, quality day, supplier or customer continue improvement program.
  12. Work together with supplier quality professional on quality issue related to supplier, conduct regular review and analyze suppliers quality performance. Perform supplier site audit when applicable.
  13. Responsible for Supplier Quality:
    - Monitor and measure supplier performance to ensure compliance with established quality and delivery standards.
    - Maintain excellent customer relations including supplier delivery performance.
    - Proven strong time management, leadership, qualities and interpersonal skills.
    - Must be able to communicate, present and influence internal & external stakeholders.
    - Develop and execute strategic plans to improve our supplier quality, delivery, and costs on a global basis.
    - Manage daily supplier quality activities.
    - Manage and develop Supplier Quality team of procedure/tools/commodity knowledge
    - Manage Claims and Non-Quality Cost
