Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives across digital and core insurance platforms. This is a people management role with hands-on responsibilities, requiring strong leadership, technical QA expertise, and stakeholder management to ensure high-quality delivery across projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong track record as a QA Lead or Manager.
  • Proven experience leading QA teams in project environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Ability to balance people management and hands-on QA work effectively.
  • Solid experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skillsets

  • Life Insurance domain knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with LifeAsia system is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of modern QA tools, frameworks, and best practice

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Ensure end-to-end test coverage across functional, integration, and regression testing.

Effort Estimation & Planning

  • Accurately assess testing efforts to align with project timelines and resource availability.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and train QA team members to optimize efficiency and performance.
  • Lead QA resources across projects, ensuring delivery quality and consistency.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, users, and stakeholders to align QA efforts with business goals.
  • Act as the primary QA representative across projects and ensure smooth communication.

Delivery & Quality Ownership

  • Oversee project testing deliveries, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, standards, and tools.
