ALG is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer for our OEM client in Singapore. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining high safety and quality standards, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with stringent airworthiness and AS9110 regulations.
This is a 2-year contract position with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surveillance on maintenance activities on aircraft and components.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure work performed is in compliance with applicable airworthiness regulatory requirements and AS9110 requirements.
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining AS9110 certification.
- Conduct continuation training on regulatory requirements, MOE, human factors, Safety Management System, etc.
- Follow up with corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
- Perform incident/accident investigations when required.
- Lead continuous improvements projects and perform new capability evaluations when required.
- Consolidate and monitor quality performance data to predict possible trends.
- Sample check on work documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Any other functions as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years Quality assurance experience in an MRO or airline environment.
- Familiarity with RAMCO & SAP systems, as well as AS9110 and/or Part 145 requirements, is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in data management and trend analysis.
- Highly Preferred: Possess a Part 66 License or FAA A&P Certificates.
- Highly Preferred: Attended Auditor Training and Train the Trainer Course.
