1. Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems based on ISO standards.
2. Oversee the day-to-day quality control operations, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
3. Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent quality outcomes to quality control inspectors and technicians.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement, non-conformities, and opportunities for enhancing quality processes.
5. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to establish and enforce quality standards at all stages of the product lifecycle.
6. Enhance the development and execution of quality control plans, including sampling techniques, testing methodologies, and documentation procedures.
7. Manage the documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans.
8. Monitor and analyse quality metrics to track performance and identify trends, presenting findings to management and suggesting improvement strategies.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ISO and UL certifications, as well as industry best practices, and incorporate them into the quality management system.
10. Supplier Quality - Work with vendors to assure there is a solid understanding of requirements.
11. Co-ordinate ISO and UL audits by external certification bodies, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place and readily accessible.
12. Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
